ok I've edited the first post with a new picture
The new picture is of the pup the winner will receive. It's a different pup than the one that was photographed before.

We had to change the pup because a new leaf opened up on the last one that's variegated - and the mother plant that it came from seems to be a little variegated also. So now the new pup that will be given away was a sucker off a different mother stem, a mother stem that's growing normally on the same mat.
Mitchel will keep the morphed plants to see how they progress.

To give you an example, this is what we mean:

that's the new leaf that just opened

and this is the healthier pup that will be given away, for comparison:

but the prize is the prize, the variegated one with the oddly formed leaf will remain for observation to see if a new sport has indeed occured...
