Default 1000 fingers contest
Jarred has kindly agreed a contest with no prize - just the warm glow of knowing that you were right!! So - how many fingers on the 1000 fingers until the pstem gives up? I know that they will all not ripen - so when the stalk dies is when the contest ends as it is still putting out fruit. At the moment the bunch is approximately 6.5ft long and 3 ft from the ground, the fingers are tiny and VERY tightly packed. If you go over you lose!!

Good luck everybody. It's a contest for fun, no prize, just bragging rights to say "I won!".. Have fun with it and thanks Cassie for the thread. Nice to hear about the bloom, its satisfying feeling knowing plants that get handed around get appreciated by more and more people and continue to be enjoyed and perhaps grown by still more as time goes by.

Worm_Farmer has donated 5,000 bananabucks to the winner - thank you Worm_Farmer - I should have thought of that! Lorax has donated 10,000 bananabucks so the winner will be wealthier than their wildest dreams! And if you go over - you lose!

Ok -the game is over and even I can't believe the count!!
