hey, my liner of thousand fingers plants came in and they are already growing. I just planted the liners a week and a half ago and they're pushing new leaves. Now how long until I get bananas? four years like my ice cream?lol...

The main plant is starting to fold so the end is nigh, so far we have cut about 100 ripe fruits but soon we will have to cut down the whole raceme - and then the counting will begin in earnest (sigh!). It will be a long, hot, sticky process but there are a gazillion fingers!!

No offense, but I bet they grow a lot faster for you in the Dominican Republic than for us Indiana folks! I'll try keeping it in my 60 degree minimum greenhouse for winter though instead of the 50 one and see how it goes.
