Is there a cultivar "Peekelii" or should wiki list it as species?
In the wiki, Musa Peekelii is listed as a Cultivar. NPGS/GRIN lists it as a species and I can't find any references elsewhere of a cultivar or hybrid named Peekelii. Is "Cultivar" a typo in the wiki? If not, is this a seedless hybrid? Thanks!

According to an earlier post from Gabe it is a specie. This happened cause there is no seperate template for creating a Specie page in the WIKI.
I will see if I can fix that. http://www.bananas.org/showthread.ph...light=peekelii I will change it on the page. Ron |

01/ 09/2008 special day for me. almost 10 years here. congrats professor. let see at 10 years; I am not going to do the months, days, minutes and seconds; that is over 700,000 banana bucks a year. people must actually respect and like you. lol. hey I even welcomed you. thanks for your support. I can see all the new people that come and go every year, most like me who know diddley and want to speak when they should shut up can be more than frustrating for a man with your experience and knowledge in all this. this place is a school. I do not believe you have left that. your patience is commendable and I believe right here is the place to say it.

I purchased Peelel's Banana seeds (Musa Peekelii) from the seedman.com. The cite said the plant is from New Guinea and will get about 30' tall. The Inflorensence has yellowish-green bracts and the fruit will ripen to an orange color. The bananas are sweet when ripe with hard black seeds. I seeds didnt sprout. I haven't had luck with any banana seeds.
