Zan Moreno?

I believe I've acquired one and wondered if anyone could tell me more about it besides the fact that it's a small Cavendish.

The only thing I can tell you is that I probably don't have it... Sorry.

Cool beans! Apparently I have a very rare to the members here plant. Is she a keeper? All of my plants are keepers so I'll just grow this puppy out and see what happens. The "I haven't a clue one" I was just handed had a spare pup in the pot so both ladies will also be tucked into my newly emerging jungle. Banana leaves are prettier than those scrappy pines and shiny leaf oaks IMO.

Pictures? You bet; I found my cable! However I believe that plants deserve the same respect as any other woman which means I post no pics until previously neglected nannerlets have had some time in larger pots with good soil and proper water to properly prepare and be ready for their close up, Mr. DeMille. (And quite frankly I don't think anyone can hazard a decent guess on a stick with 2 puny and brownish leaves much less a preflowering plant.)

Did some research on your new plant, and looks like a good one. It even has some cold hardiness. Good job, and I hope it grows well for you.

I had also come to that conclusion. Don't need the hardy factor here very often but always nice except she seems to be a later bloomer. Oh, well. Works for me. Raised figs but couldn't stand to eat them. Not very fond of bananas either but I like the plants also. On the upside I grow blueberries and blackberries which I do consider yummy. Need to find an everbeariing peach and/or apple.

I got her locally and plan to pick up some other pups from the same source. I'll let you know if he has more small ones. (I paid $3 for this one and expect the same price on future purchases. Shipping is what it is.)
