Cool You know it's been a bad winter when...

The snow melts and you find that mice have been busy eating your lawn,
and rabbits have pruned you bushes. No pussys on the weeping Pussy willow
this year.

Yeah, My front yard looks like that also, and my Hardy Hibiscus got stripped on the mid branches and girdled at the base, so I can kiss it good bye.

I had a fence around a newly planted burning bush to keep rabbits out. They love them. The snow was so high they walked right over the top of the fence and tore the shrub a new one. Same with my raspberries, that fence was 5 feet high.

Hardy hibiscus will come back from the roots. It's going to be just fine!

The rabbits ate my burning bush too! Plus they really got all the branches and buds on my euonemus as well. I think they also ate off all the buds on my verigated Hydranga. I got rabbit pellets all over the place!
