Default Winterbloom zone 9b Jacksonville.

Hi just want to know how I should fertilize and what extra care I should give the banana as it gets colder. I believe its a Hawaiian banana I purchased from a member here. I tried uploading a photo but it didnt work.

If you are overwintering, you are going to want to cut down on fertilizer

FYI, Jax is 9a. Cut down on fertilizer once the highs are under 70F, Water less, and wrap a frost cloth around the pseudo stem once winter actually arrives. I'm on the far-west side, and I've got a tall red that has made it through two winters. The leaves get trashed. Just let it be.

Thanks for the replies. Is there a specific fertilizer that will help the fruit develop ? I'll look into the wintering cloth for the pseudostem.

I think potassium is the best when fruiting...
