Default winter storage

Well, my super dwarf bananas, the SDC's, Little prince's and Truly Tiny's, are all tucked away on my enclosed porch and in my bedroom for their winters nap. BUT I still have my two largest babies standing in the Kitchen waiting for me to find room for them! LOL. They have grown so much this past summer that I can no longer fit them at the window. Maybe one, IF I get a shoehorn! I may try and squeeze one on the front porch, but then I need to find room for my figs...I'm just glad they have done so well!

Anyone else having problems find room due to such great growth?

No problems at all, so far.

My Basjoo in the small cold greenhouse, still have to bring my ice-cream in.

A part of my basement with some of the smaller tropicals.

And the low energy fluorescent bulbs in the basement from wich I have 4 for continued growth(at least I hope so)

Further on I used my mothers spare bedroom and a part of her house for
some larger ones.

So , I would say, let the winter come, nothing can happen

Ron

Looks like you have a really nice set up there, Ron. My little ones are all under lights and at the windows both in the bedroom and on my enclosed porch.

I really need a greenhouse, someday, I guess! LOL

I had so many bananas right now that they all wouldn't fit into my overwintering greenhouse unless I cut them back severely. So I cut most of them back to 6-8". They were getting too big to sell really anyway. No one could really fit them into their car very well, and they were too tall to pack to the farmers market. I still have a 7' alocasia to move from one greenhouse to the other one, but it's been too windy to even think about moving it. With those big leaves acting like a sail, there's no telling where I might wind up! maybe the east coast....
