winter care
Hi: I recieved some small banana plants from a company called Wellsprings Garden. I am going to tranplant them into large containers for the winter. I no you are suppose to cut back on fertalizer but i am planing to use worm compost. I no it is a great fertalizer and plant food. I have been saving it for this purpose. What do you guys think? Thanks

Re: winter care
You won't have any issues using worm compost. It will make those plants from Donovan(Wellspring Gardens) flourish.

Re: winter care
Everything sounds great except for larger pots, that sounds like a bad case of root rot coming your way!!!! I have bought plants from wellspring they are "great" but the plants are really small, but that is why you get a deal on them. You will have better success with small pots........when the pot breaks then move them up to a bigger pot.
