Default Why won't it bloom?

I have a banana tree which I think is a Musa Basjoo. Last year it bloomed and put off very small bananas. They never riped before the frost killed them. Of the 8 years we lived here that was the first and only time they have done that. Why won't they bloom again? I cut them to the ground each winter after they die from the frost. They always come back. Any thoughts as to what I can do to help them bloom again? Live in Dallas Tx area. In zone 7 or 8b depending on what chart you look at. Thanks.
I have pics of them on my photo page under the banana trees. This computer is smarter than I for some reason I can't post a picture in the body of this.

About posting pics, there's detailed info here that should walk you through it.
It's different posting pics here than at other boards. You gotta use the common "BB code" ("bulletin board code").
How to post images in your threads

As for your nanners that aren't blooming - what are you doing as far as nutrition & moisture?

I have tryed to give them a good soaking once every other week. Never have given them any food. They looked good so I did not think they needed it. Guess that would be a good starting point. How wet do they need to stay?

Here is a picture of the bananas.

Here is the size of the bananas before I lost them to the frost. Also these are the type of bananas trees I think they are correct?

That is not Musa basjoo. It looks to be Musa 'Orinoco' which is a very different plant from basjoo.
