Yes still in Hawaii. I have a 35acre farm, usually somewhere around 150 varieties not counting my breeding projects which can add a few hundred more periodically before I make my selections. Primarily Im a commercial banana farmer, but still dabble in formal research, as well as my own side projects, mostly breeding new varieties.

Hey Matt, I actually just logged in today for the first time in a few years and happened across your post. Nice to hear you're still growing the naners. I myself have recently repainted my thumb green and am currently in the early stages of revitalizing the various stalling fruit trees we have around the yard, which includes bananas.

P.S. I also noticed you're still active on the fruit forums; apologies for forgetting to respond to your PM about 5 years ago

I havnt logged in for awhile. Had to make a report on a citrus in another section. I still grow banana or I grow what I have. Been a couple years since I purchased one. The plants that I have now are extremely cold resistant and cover a large area. Think I’m down to just six types.
My yard is still a mess w fruit and veggies. Got about a week until apricot harvest.
Got into hydro this year, that’s been a fun experiment. Anyone need lettuce. Haha

Hi Matt. I'm fairly new but forget to login time to time. It would be nice to receive a reminder no more than once a year.

Hi again from San Diego.

We had some really rough winters the past three or four years and I lost most of my banana plants. Very discouraged.
Checked bananas.org every now and then, but each time there were multiple spam posts or BS posts from members that should have been banned way back in the "good 'ol days". Unfortunately, website down quite a bit, issues with replies etc. are keeping me away from logging in more often.

But welcome back, Matt.
