Who made there own rain barrels?
My parents are using big metal drums that caught the car port/pool barn gutters. Now where we live I have no access to the gutters and can't use a ugly metal barrel.
I will need something that can caught/hold alot of water, have a lid on it and a nozzle to remove the water. show me your projects! Thanks |
Re: Who made there own rain barrels?
well i dont know if you wanna spend a lot of money on this..but i saw a lowes south of atlanta sell a slow drip gravity fed watering system made of a plastic 50 gallon barrel with a hose at the bottom. its not hard for me to copy.. i wish i had more free time on my hands. you live in a sub division with a lot of restictions and rules? how come you dont want an ugly metal barrel??:ha:

well we are renting a townhouse and I would figure someone might complain even though its in our fenced in patio around back. Then I would have to figure out something to do with it. Thanks
