![]() I am planning on buying another banana. I it will most likely be pretty good size (maybe 5 gallon) so not from seeds or anything. I'm close to the beach on Southern California with very mild temps. Could I plant now? Does it matter?
Richard recomended... Dwarf Brazilian Dwarf Namwa Sweetheart and I looked them up and they all look wonderful. I have a tiny yard so I would want a dwarf or a small variety. I actually think I will get two now because...well because I am obsessed now like all of you. ![]() I have a side yard that is pretty shady but I could plant a few of them there. How much sun do I have to give them? Jen |

![]() Jen, you're in zone 10 - you can plant almost anything you want, nearly anytime you wish. I am in a desert, but learned that winters here are not really "desert-like" in fact, sometimes they get snow! Oh well, beats Chicago's climate.
