Its my first winter for my bananas here in the uk we are at the end of oct and night time tempatures are about 5 to 6 c the bananas are still growing a new leaf very slowly but still growing i am going to bring them into my conservatry for the winter, but when would be the best time now or leave a bit longer till it gets colder. |

6C was cold enough to damage leafs on my cavendish last year ![]() so this year i brought them in a little earlier i would bring them indoors now Last edited by subsonicdrone : 10-24-2016 at 07:36 PM. |

I am in Southwest Ohio....USA. My zone is exactly like yours..... I will keep all plants out till a Hard freeze warning...then I will start moving them around or close to the house. However....if the temps DO NOT go below 34-35.......1-2 Celsius....your/I'm still good.. For a short period of time. Keep the outside as long as you can....wait till the last minute. ![]() I do have bajoo im keeping them out but i have 7 other kinds i bought my siam ruby in because its quiet small but my red banana entrese is still growing and so are most of the others, weekend is ment to get down 4 to 5 but no frosts or freezes on the cards
