Default What's wrong with my Banana tree?

It was doing fine but then a couple leaves started dieing at once. The cigar leaf had a brown streak and broke at the tip. I noticed 4 pups seemed to come up at once and the leaf is still growing from the middle just fine but I'm concerned about its health. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Stay the course.....limit water and extra love....
Sometimes the plant is a slow starter when small like that....but just wait.

Your plant looks nice, and you have pups

Put it outside if you can right next to those tomatoes.

Where do you live? In a climate where plants might as well stay potted since they have to be inside most of their lives or all of their lives? Or where you have 4 seasons so your plants get outside growth experiences? Or, perhaps, where you rarely have frosts so they can exist in the dirt with an occasional covering in winter or expect/accept some losses? If you edit your profile to add your city and zone the experts here can help you learn how to best grow your babies. Without surrendering that information you won't get much more than a comment about your "pretty plants" because nobody can really assist you. BTW, it's always nice when you join a new board to go ahead and post an intro if they provide a section which this very wonderful place does. Telling others a bit about you is part of becoming a member IMO.
