![]() We may need some more information. How much light is it getting? What kind of light? What is your normal daytime temp? How are you watering? What kind of soil? Has it always grown this way? Fertilizer? If you could add some pictures, that would help a lot.

![]() I would try repoting your plant into a bigger pot. Are you giving it any fertilizer? Light looks good. Water is more tricky. Larger plant in a small pot might need water more than once a week. More of a feel thing. Stick your finger into the soil about a knuckle deep. Do you feel moisture? If not, it needs water. Also, about what is the temp where the plant grows? The most important thing is to not worry, we will get this figured out.

![]() Have you checked for spider mites? They will shrivel a leaf pretty quick indoors.

![]() That pot looks kind of small for the size of the plant. Since I am still new to nanners I cannot be certain, but if this were a tree, I would say it was growing for the light and shedding leaves to maintain the limited root size.

![]() Given your location switch to a larger pot and make it clay. A very porous mix is called for, and when you water let it drain fully in the sink. I overwintered many banana pups when I was in No Carolina and learned to limit water and use a fan to circulate air.

To me your plant is showing signs of just being brought indoors. Most plants will have a few leaves go yellow in a short time after being inside which is normal. Watering needs when indoors drops dramatically....let the soil dry out between waterings. Maybe a water interval of 14 days would be better. Your container size can be changed to a larger one, but do it in the spring when your plant is outdoors and actively growing.....refrain from doing it now. Plants that are not actively growing and in undersized containers are hard to overwater... which is a plus. |
