What's the corm hardiness of musa beccarii?
 

I've heard that this species is not very tolerant of cold weather, and is one of the last bananas to return in the Spring. What I would like to know, is the corm at all hardy? I'm in a zone 7, and I do know that most species bananas are hardy to zone 8, but not sure about this one. Thanks!
