I'm so excited the supposedly praying hands bloom is about to drop and I get to see if it's actually a praying hands!

And update on the Namwa rack:

My Florida Platinum (Raja Puri) put out a 25" bud at 7.5' of pstem. Lots of leaves on this one so should be capable of ripening the bunch by late November. This is one of my favorite plants.

This bunch started setting 2 weeks ago. Hope it is far enough along to identify as Blue Java. In person the top 2 hands are starting to blue up.

My Tall Namwa is blooming at only 6ft
It's the original mother plant from last year it hardly grew this year
The rest of the pups have outgrown it so this was a surprise but I'm not expecting much.

Bonus pics

I also just harvested the 11 Orinoco fingers from a few posts back

My mother had a bigger harvest on hers

My California Gold has an absolutely massive flower
Whiskey barrel right below for scale.
Amazing for such a short plant!

On the other hand my Tall Namwa flower is very small (about half the size) but it does look like it will still put out some fingers
