The original Goldfinger was grown from a seed found in a Prata Ana which is a dwarf cultivar and the Goldfinger is also a dwarf. And because it was grown from a seed found in a cultivar, that makes it a new and unique variety that isn't part of any subgroup. The Veinte Cohol is another dwarf cultivar that isn't part of a subgroup and even though it's a dwarf it is not commonly referred to as the dwarf Veinte Cohol. This isn't an explanation, only an observation.

Tall Namwa blooming. I counted 6 hands. They are pretty small at this point. This is the 2nd generation of the mat.

My Goldfinger has flowered. This was supposed to be the real deal FHIA1 (bought as a pup from a forum member), but the shape of that male flower unfortunately indicates it's something different. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Perhaps just the normal "American Goldfinger"?

Wait another week or so, the heart shape may come out more. My goldfinger didn't have much heart shape til it got further down.
