Definitely not Orinoco. Looks kind of Namwah like, but the fruit didn't taste Namwah like to me. Great texture, nice taste. It's a winner -- at least based on the fruit from it that Tony gave me. I hope I can replicate his success with it! The one I got from him is growing well.

James, very nice. How tall are those two plants? Seems like my DC should be close to flowering, it's about 5' of p-stem. My Manzanos have a ways to go since they're only 4-5'.

Indeed it is. I thought basjoo was yellow? Since I don't bring my basjoo inside for the winter, I guess I'll never see a flower as they die down to the ground every year. In any case, it'a a banana flower and fruit, my first, and I love it even if it's not the most colorful!

Hi Ventura
My DCs were between 5 and 6 ft when they flowered. They both had produced 2ft suckers by then as well. My Manzanos are 10-12ft and are producing many suckers. Some were 4-5 ft high. I have been giving them away to stop the matt from getting crowded.
Here is my first DC bunch.

The plant (E. glauca) is slowly sinking into the ground. It has lost 2 feet in height since the bloom was first noted!!??
