Hiya What do you grow?

I had three cultivars for a couple of years and am now up to 11 and plan to buy several more still this year. In reading about different cultivars I am often checking the forum trying to read about some of the candidates. Often, I am disappointed that I can't find much information about people's personal experiences.

With that in mind, I kindly request that you edit your profile to fill in the new category Jarred added last night so other enthusiasts can find out who they might ask about a cultivar. You can read Jarred's announcement of this change at New profile field - "Banana species and cultivars grown".

Also, many of the entries in the wiki are rather sparse. If you have not visited these, check them out at http://www.bananas.org/w/index.php?t...ecial:Allpages. Please consider going to the list of cultivars in the wiki and editing entries with comments you may have from your own experiences. Cold hardiness and photos are especially helpful, but also tell us how the fruit tastes! It might be a little complicated, but pinning your location on the map for each cultivar is also helpful and interesting. Someone may learn that someone near them is growing the cultivar in question.

Please help us other addicts get our "fix"!

Harvey
