Here's the thing.. I have a GF that I planted in front of our power meter..Which means our power lines are under it.. It is putting on AMAZING Growth.... I have one 8' down with the same conditions (except power lines) that is doing really good.. Last yr. I had a Maurelii there (that spot with the power lines) that got HUGE!!! I was a lineman for the phone. co. for 20 yrs.. I know they put out heat and vibrations...Do you think this could be a factor?? The Maurelii is doing okay but is short and fat ... We did have some Spring storms and I had to cut some leaves... but not tall like last yr....It would be 20 ft down in the same bed..
If this could be a factor I am already dreamin of what to plant next yr..LOL Any clue?? Kylie Last edited by Kylie2x : 07-26-2007 at 03:41 PM. |

On Mythbusters, they had a show about the effects of vibrations on plants. I think they found out that it actually does speed up growth. I dont remember anything else about it. My 2 cents-

This is interesting about elecricitys' impact on plants.
What got huge? Goldfinger or Maurelli? Wich is doing best? The one 8 ' down that is "doing really good " or the one "putting on amazing growth" next to the power-meter? To be honest, I had a little trouble understanding what you meant here! Sorry about that! Whatever is getting huge next to your power meter, it could be the electricity attracting ions in the surrounding soil... Creating good karma....Who knows... ![]()
