What to do next ?

So... I have had banana plants for about 4 years and until this year, they have never produced bananas ( I’m now learning why). My question is in regard what’s happening with the stem that the bananas are on. When I first discovered that I had bananas, there were 2 hands of well formed bananas. I was so excited to see that I finally had bananas and was looking forward to watching more hands emerge... unfortunately, that isn’t happening. 😔 The bloom is continuing to open, but the flowers under each petal are yellowish and after a few days they fall off. I’m thinking that at this point, the bloom won’t be producing any more fruit and am considering cutting the bloom off (probably cook and eat, unless convinced to leave it be). I’m also seeing that the stem that is below the last set of formed bananas is a darker color than the one where the bananas are.

After viewing numerous videos on banana care, I think I know what caused the problem....
A few weeks ago, I cleaned my rabbit hutch’s, and thinking that I needed to build up the soil around the bananas I spread the rabbit manure & hay around the base of the banana plants. I didn’t know at the time that I had a bloom & bananas forming. I believe that the manure (fertilizer) shocked the plant and has caused it to stop producing viable bananas.

I would greatly appreciate any comments & helpful suggestions.
I have so much to learn and hope that I have found the right place to do so.

A picture would help. The Bloom & nanas were formed months ago then pushes up the pstem to emerge. And, when the plant blooms the root up-take of nutrients GREATLY reduces. The plant lives on it's internal reserves. .... So the rabbit manure didn't do that.

Sounds normal to me. Also Sounds like a neglected orinoco lol. Female hands then male hands that tall off.
