Gabe! How many seeds of M. Ingens did you have to use to get some seedlings? And where did you get them from?

Taylor,
They are a different variety or maybe a different species altogether, but similar to M. ingens. They were a gift, I dont think you can get them anywhere yet. I had only 10 seeds, when I first planted them a year ago I got 1 of 5, then recently I planted the remaining 5 and have 2-3 coming up. The person who I got them from got 100% germination. They are rather easy to sprout.

Today I moved a Burmese Blue and what I think is my Ice Cream to pots and to the house.. My well... thoughtful grimlins(aka GB's) thought maybe I had dropped alot of those plastic makers so they went and picked them all up for me...LOL So I guess my next stop wil be the forum where someone can tell me what the heck is what!!!

Kylie, I think the topic was things you planted, not thngs you UNplanted. But then, It is supposed to be about bananas, but I posted the figs I planted, anyway. Now up to 40 new fig trees planted asm of today. Even banana lovers can be a little broad minded.

Hi All,
As a Newbie, I just planted my first two; a Dwarf Cavendish and a Dwarf Red....all in pots! The little guys are just barely 12" long from the tip of the roots to the top of a stem (guess that's how they measure a 12" plant, huh?) But each had at least two leaves so thats a start. Maybe photos later, when there is something to photograph. In the meantime I sit, watching and waiting!!
