What date is the "banana day"?

Hello again my friends!

I have a question..

When is the international banana day?
I have found 2 different dates when I have searched the internet, April 18-19 and August 27th.

.. and then April 23 for the banana bread day?
Which is true? :0491:

I'm grateful for answers!

I honestly have never heard about any kind of official "banana day" at least here in the US, I guess celebrate every day as "banana day". I'm sure it's a thing to some people in some places, but I have no clue.

Re: What date is the "banana day"?

Together with the Swedish Banana Club (bananklubben.se), I established Sweden's own banana day (in 2018) on March 4.

And according to the english wikipedia here are few other banana-days:
  • February 23 - National Banana Bread Day
  • March 2 - National Banana Creme Pie Day
  • March 4 - National Banana Day (SE)
  • May 1 - National Banana Day (AU)
  • August 25 - National Banana Split Day
  • August 27 - National Banana Lovers Day
  • September 12 - National Banana Day (US)

I'm grateful for your input (or correction) on more banana days in each country.
