Needs more humidity. Try putting the plant on a tray filled with wet gravel and spray periodically with warm water.

Any other options apart from this? I don't have gravel at my disposal, the plants are in a plastic pot, with holes underneath, with a tray to catch the excess water.

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Looks like very minor damage on an otherwise pretty healthy plant. Probably related to indoor growing conditions.

Lack of water is my guess also. At least it looks like it.

Thanks fellas...I have watered it thoroughly now, with 20-20-20 fertilizer. It has been growing at a vigorous rate since I bought it a few weeks ago, in a 15cm pot, with a sprout of 1 leaf per week

Just another question for the xperts here.....when I do finally plant this in the ground on the front lawn when it warms up, what kind of mulch should I use around the plant to retain the moisture?
Cheers |

I would use whatever is local to you. Down here in NC, I use pine straw. Back in CT, I used wood chip because they were free. Just make sure you do mulch and keep them watered. Red

Ah, could also be cold spots on the leaves, due to how close it is to your wintery window...
