Default What banana to grow

We just moved to Hawaii and don’t have a lot of yard space to plant so which banana would you grow if you could just choose one?

It somewhat depends on your tastes, but for me, a Namwah. But there may be things available there that we don't have on the mainland that might be "the bomb".

yes!!!!! manzanos are the bomb. one of the few I get to taste.

use the forum member map to locate local forum members. then send them a PM. Some one will be willing to help you and he might even have few pups for you. .... Suggest growing native type banana plants. There are a couple of type we can not get in the States.
