Default The weather service missed a frost.

I'm not sure how it happened or why it happened, but it was 49 at my house on Sunday morning, but it must have gotten much colder up the road at the farm. I am seeing frost damage lots of places about 1/2 mile away from the lake.

It is very different than what I have seen in the past. My Gran Nains made it through fairly well. I had two rows of Dwarf Super Plantain that got their leaves burnt off. My other DSPs didn't seem to fair too badly but they are about 100' closer to the lake

Angry Re: The weather service missed a frost.

I had 49F on Sun AM and the banana leaves show a little more bite today. All the tender stuff still in pots went back in the garage with the space heater. Basil, peppers, tomatoes - all still in pots. The cars had a lite coating of frost on the windows.

We will see what Feb has for us?!

Todays high hit 82.
