To water or not too?
Was curious if anyone ever skips a day of nanner watering. Like its cloudy and 75* today. Not sure I am going to water mine. I watered them good yesterday at 2:00.

Re: To water or not too?
I skip every day all the time, it's an easy way to keep track of which days I watered.

Re: To water or not too?
It would make them more tolerant, but just being greedy with size. I want them to keep getting huge.

Re: To water or not too?
My banana growth has almost stopped and I have stopped with fertilizer.
My bananas have shown their displeasure with the shortened days by dropping the bottom leaves. Temps are 30 to 40 degrees lower also. I will water every 3 to 5 days because my pots do not dry out anymore. And so it goes........ |

Re: To water or not too?
I only water every 3 days or so because our temps are in the low 70's during the day and 40's and 50's at night...almost time to bring the bananas indoors for the winter!!!
