Video from banana plantation in Formosa, North Argentina
Hi, I made a new video of pictures, that I made several years ago, of a banana plantation in Laguna Blanca, Prov. Formosa, Argentina.
They are growing "Musa nanica" the most common species in the South of Latinamerica. Hope, you'll enjoy it. [YT]XCakLk6sQco[/YT] |

Can't make the video play for some reason, but would like to see it. Is it my settings or is the link broken? Oh nevermind, I got it - just takes a while to load. Thanks!

Re: Video from banana plantation in Formosa, North Argentina
Hi Chris,
your video is great, I also know "Nanica" and will plant some pups of this variety into my garden in Lucianópolis/Brazil late August or September. But I need Musa basjoo to try to cross it with different banana species and cultivars to get hardy fruit bananas for colder climates, but it's prohibited to import bananas from Germany, USA and Thailand to Brazil since 2005. I try to get Musa basjoo in Brazil. Do you know sources in Brazil? Best wishes Joachim |

Hi Joachim,
I don't know sources in Brazil. Maybe a Association of Banana Growers oder Ministry of Agriculture can help you! Regards Bananachris |
