have had the same bananas maby cavindish do not realy know..small great tasting...latly not so many bananas..have only had 1 bunch in past 2 years..out of 6 plants...do they loose there viger??? have started fresh several times...cut down scalp and seperate corm is what i mean by fresh...growing great...real cold hardy..never have lost 1 due to cold..do i just need to start over with fresh stock??? maby from another member???thanks in advance...gary...i.e 2 woodensticks......... rack em!!!!!!!!!!!!:goteam:

It sounds more like what you could use is some really good fertilizer, or at the very least a hefty blast of potassium in particular.
'Nannerz are like a sponge when it comes to sucking all the available "K" out of the soil so that would be the first place I would start.
A good dose of fast acting water soluble followed by a timed release version should keep the fertilizing down to once a month or so.

If they aren't growing fertilzer isn't sufficent from my experience. I hit my plants yesterday and they grew out a foot. :^)
