Variegated Musa Sapientum 'Sweet Cream'
 
This banana is turning into quite a gem also. This one has been in the trade for a few years, and is periodically offered by Asiatica Nursery.

Here's a picture from last August:



And here's a picture from yesterday. Those are Ae Ae leaves to the right:



Nice to see a few alternatives to Ae Ae slowly making there way over here. This one shows great promise, IMHO!

Very, very nice.

Hope to see more variegated bananas in time. This one looks like it won't burn as easily as the AE AE does. It seems to have just two shades of green, and not the all white areas, no?

Yeah, it doesn't have the pure white variegation that AeAe has. It has cream-colored variegation, and it looks like it doesn't burn as easily as AeAe. It's hard to be sure though, due to its small size and the fact that it still gets shaded by other plants in the greenhouse. His AeAe bananas don't really burn too much in the greenhouse for that matter.
