The flower is just so mesmerizing! The color is so intense! I hope you don't mind me saving that pic for personal enjoyment.

Yes, the air-pruning of roots is very much a proven thing. Rootmaker pots are know for innovative designs and precise hole sizes, etc. You will notice that some of the pots have designs that direct the roots to the air holes. Standard pots get rootbound easily because a root will come into contact with the edge of the pot and then just circle around in the pot, eventually filling up the pot and creating a tangled mess.

I only have two of the Rootmaker pots in about 3 gallon size and wish I could get some larger ones somewhere around here.

Okay put Ae's outside. I cut the leaves off the big one so strength will go to the new leaf that is coming up. I also put coconut palms outside. And some of my small bananas. Hope nothing happens while I am out of town. My husband will be here. But I don't need him to water them too much. LOL, yes I am a worrywart. LOL
