Unusual fast growth?
Hello all,
My Musa basjoo is growing extremely fast at over a foot or more a week, even days! I am in zone 10/California, and I do not do anything to it except water once a week. Is this the normal growth rate? Thx |

If you are referring to the cigar or central leaf at the top, yes, that is normal. A little slow, but normal. An established basjoo will put out a new leaf every five days.
