Thanks Mark ---- that's what i needed to hear.
So I'm out a Pisang Klotek sucker and only have 4 cucamunga banana pups to show for it.

For sale: 4 nice, freshly dug cucamunga banana pups to a nice home. Pedigree unknown. None nutered or vaccinated. Answer also to blah blah blah.

Yeah Mark nailed it. Ice Cream are blue and sunfish's picture is a good example of it. It's the 2nd most common banana in my yard and I've got 3 fruiting right now and another I harvested earlier in the week. I kind of have to force myself to eat them. Will be much more excited about my first namwahs fruiting. Nice bunches ya got, enjoy 'em!

Come on, show us some pics, please! At least you aren't teasing us by saying that they're really great tasting. On the other hand, I've got some Namway almost ready to pick. Photos shown previously. I think both my "Mystery Busy Bee Banana" and my Belle (from Jon) are Namwah. At least I can be quite certain that the Pray Hands I got from Jon are really Praying Hands.

Sorry, I felt like it would be crossposting. I have my latest in the what is harvested and flowering threads, and also my photos. Lots of Ice Creams lately! As I've said before they make great soft serve ice cream if frozen when ripe, then blended with a little soy or coconut milk. No sweetener needed.

This may sound crazy but the real truth is youre not out of anything with your trade.. Lets say theres an unfortunate chain of events that kill all of your p.k. wouldn't you feel at ease knowing you could just ask your buddy for a replacement? Happened to me with a varigated banana. Glad I decided to share. I would recommend sharing a plant thats you feel that is hard to come by with another nearby plant enthusiast.. As for the pups.. Put them up for sale.

Right on both counts. Three people close by have the PK now. And the 4 unknowns go up for auction at my club. The consensus here is they are Namwah. That's what the labels will say.
