Is the true AEAE spreading?
 

Hi All,

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the AEAE. Is it spreading? will it be more available like the Musa Florida is now? Generally curious if ill see it available at a reasonable price in the UK, EU and US.

For those who are commercial has the AEAE come on over the last few years as its popularity has skyrocketed.

I wonder by the time i hit 50, in 30 years, will it be commercially available?

haha, yeah, it'll be interesting to see what PR says.

but no pressure.

it seems like plants like the white variegated monstera that was hard to get a few years ago are now very commercially available. I know its different genera but all plants which seem to get high amounts of notice seem to eventually become available.

Would be nice if the aeae did that also! I'm sure it will at some point. Florida has so I wouldn't be too surprised. May take a few years tho!

I noticed more tissue cultures popping up on Etsy. You can buy 5-10 per pack from $300-800 now, so they've dropped in price significantly.
