for those in Alberto's path. Here in Northeast North Carolina we're expecting only the remnants with some wind, some rain. I'm just glad all my "favorite stuff" is potted and easily pulled in for protection.

I slept all night and worked all day so haven't heard alot on Alberto down in Florida.. but wow?? no tornadoes or much damage? That would be great to hear. Anyone flooded or lose any plants? I have a 5 foot unknown banana and can't get the danged pot out of the ground! And hubby isn't home. Prolly won't get home until after the rain begins. I'm sorta thinking he's not going out in the pooring rain. Grrrr...

I'm near Orlando, and we got high winds and about 3 inches of rain. No harm, lots of good. We'd had about 1" of rain in the last 3 months!

Then it turned out to be a good thing for you, Paul. Glad to hear it. I knew alot of people were in bad need of rain. Here where I am in NC, we don't need any. I actually haven't watered one drop in over a week and things were still soggy going into the start of the rain last night. And looks like I broke my back for nothing tugging and pulling at a large pot in the ground. Then hubby got home and pulled it right out.. we put it in the shop.. on top of his precious lumber *hehehe* and to this point winds are calm. Water in my pool is completely covering the skimmer.
