is the thia black the same as ele ele or is it a type of black balbasiana or is it something totally different that agristart introduced. ive noticed that there the only ones labeling it this and producing them that i have seen. cant find no info on it really can it get the black sig. or other deseases what is its max hieght and cold hardyness?

J, Thai Black = Musa balbisiana var Black P-stem Thai form.

It grows to 9+ft in p-stem height.

As far as cold tolerance, you can expect it to be the same as the normal M balbisiana.

Mine was black last year, but the pstem was damaged by the cold, so she is starting again from the corm. Love the looks of them when they are larger.
