These were passed over the garden fence!!
A friend has a brand new garden and a neighbour, hearing that he needed bananas, passed these over the fence. So I have stashed them in a shady place until he can get over with the truck to collect them.

People are very generous but she had offered them to the gardeners who already had enough, and was going to compost them. On the other hand, as she is from Europe, she would probably kill for a tulip or daffodill in the spring! lol
