Default Are these ready to harvest?

This is only my second season and I think I may have harvested too early last year. My dwarf namwah bloomed at the end of December. I thought by now they would be ready to harvest but they still don't look as round as photos I have seen other's namwah harvests.

Can anyone give me some pointers on good indicators for harvesting?

When in doubt wait till the first finger turns yellow. That bunch ideally should fill in some more.

Like servatusprime said, wait until an undamaged finger or two start to turn yellow. (Damaged ones often ripen prematurely.)

Or you can cut off a finger or two and see how they ripen. You don't have to harvest the whole bunch at once.

Ripening time varies with climate and season (if you aren't in the tropics), but in my climate, for a bunch of Namwah that emerged in December, it would typically take 8 months for it to ripen. For a Namwah bunch that emerged in late spring / early summer, ripening would be 2-3 months faster in my yard.
