I just finished digging up and storing my p-stems of IceCream and Gran Nain in my garage.
The IceCream is over 10 feet so that one is on the floor parallel to the wall However my Gran Nains are only 5-6 feet so I have them standing up. Does it matter if they are stored horizontally or vertically? Thanks /Peter |

I would say just watch the horizontal one carefully, in early spring, as it starts to grow. I, once, had about 20 or 30 basjoos, about that height, that were growing in 14 inch pots. They were too high to try to cover with leaves, and tarps so I decided to lay the pots down and then put the leaves and tarps on them. I guess I left them a little too long in the spring, and when I uncovered them, most had started to grow, but right above the tops of the pots, and straight up, at right angles to the p-stem.
