Angry Stolen Bananas!

I went out side last night to bring in some of my basjoo's so they wouldn't get soaked in the rain (potted). It's then that I realized that I had a lot of them missing. Some one had went to my house yesterday and loaded a bunch up and took off. I had a sign in the yard selling some potted ones from my plants. They took a couple large and small potted ones. It burns me up that some one would steal of all things.........my banana trees. The sherriff came out to file a report and they thought it was funny. I admit it is some what but I'm still looking around to see what else they took of value.

lwabirds-Sorry to hear about your stolen bananas. I am constantly amazed at how little concern some people have for the rights and property of others.

I got my bananas back last night. I neighbor said she saw a guy riding a bike packing them. I asked her the direction he was headed and assumed it was the trailer park. I went and knocked on every door to look for the guy based on her description. I found the guy. Called the Sherriff and hours later his partents brought them to me. Looks like he gave them to a girl friend some miles away. I called the sherriff, told them that I found the guy and my property and wanted him arrested. They did go to his house, got a confession, and took him to jail.

Glad you got your stuff back. Hopefully the young idiot will learn a lesson and have a life from now on . Can you imagine him trying to explain his crime to other inmates without them thinking him a total moron.
Anyway , good work tracking him down .
Later
Steve

I have a strong dislike for thieves. What nerves!!! I am glad you were able to track down the low-life and get your bananas back. Hopefully, the perpetrator has learned his lesson.

Good for you !
It's a shame that you had to do that yourself or at all . Theft can disrupt so many aspects of ones life .
I hope the guy pays for his actions .

It amazes me what some people will do to get something for nothing. I hate a thief. I really do. I am constantly watching out for my stuff in my yard. Last year a 3 foot plastic pumpking was stolen from my yard. It was a hard plastic and electric very pretty and children liked it a lot. I heard the voices that night, next morning noticed my pumpking decoration gone.

I am also watching my Australian plant I just planted. Why, someone could just yank it and steal it, I think. Didn't used to be this way. I bought me a blank pellet gun and a sling shot. I am ready for them.

Good for you, good detective work.

I just hope last night in jail he met a BIG guy named BUBBA! i hope BUBBA asked him what he's in for (stealing a banana tree) and gets laughed to death then "shown" what jail is really like. It's mean but it gives me an evil grin! I layed down my pellet gun years ago. I carry a CCW and have shot guns ready for perps. Gottan protect the nanners.

Forming your own one-man posse to rescue your nanners can mean only one thing: You are a banana fiend!

Good job and congrats!
