Ya Steve, how big of a green house are you going to build. Us curious folks want to know. Sure wish I had one bigger than the one I have now it is 3 shelves and plastic cover. The only thing it is good for is small plants and seed germination.

Hi guys , we have had rain at last , I hope SoCal gets some soon . Hard to imagine what it must be like , I was worried we were going to have a fire here it was so dry .
On the green house front , I'm planning one about 8 ft wide by 12 ft by ten feet tall. I'll make 2by2 walls in panals so I can take it down easily. I may need to build two this year as my Tropical Water Lilies should have there own . With luck I can get it done next week.

Cold Re: Still warm

Not here Steve. It was 45 last night and barely gonna make it to 70 today. Me and my dad have been working on my greenhouse for the last two days as it gets colder. It's not that big, 12x4 but it will do the job. It sits on my slab outside my back door. We built it out of sliding doors that were sent to the lumber store but were the wrong finish or handle hole on the wrong side. The company's don't want em back due to the return freight so we got 3 and a door for almost nothing!! Quality doors, double pain argon filled. I think it will work out great except the fight with my crooked porch. I'll post a pic when it's done.

Nice find those doors, I'm just using plastic and wood . I thought about making a Hoophouse but I want it more vertical for the tall stuff than I can get without making a really wide Hoophouse. Plus with the wood I can add glass later without much work.
