Default Started flowering in winter

I have a Dwarf Brazilian I planted about 1.5 years ago and it started flowering last month.
Been told it will stop growing during our mild Californian winters just to take off and finish mid next year.
I’ve also read here once it flowers no more leaves will grow, two months ago our winds ripped through and shredded 60% of the leaves.
What’s the real chances they will finish to maturity next year if we don’t see any frost this winter?

Nor more new leaves. The flowering cycle will continue to completion, even in winter. As long as the pseudostem is viable, they should ripen in the spring. You really can't alter the trajectory and just get to go along for the journey at this point.

That’s what I was hoping for!

I just hope there is enough leaf foliage to photosynthesize enough to get there.

Still working on adding pix here.

The size and quantity of bananas of bananas has been determined by the time you see the flower. Maturity of the bunch will work itself out.

Not sure if it had anything to do with my inputs but there looks to be over 200 in 10-12 finger groups.

Thank you for all the support!

Can’t wait to see how beautiful the bloom is on this cultivar.
