That means that it can take a joke and a little abuse from time to time...



Actually, it means that a different-looking pup will sprout from the mother corm of a variety. California Gold is a good example. Most believe that it is a "sport" of Dwarf Orinoco. Somewhere along the line, a DO pup came up with different traits than a normal DO. You get the idea.

NO, NO, NO! Don't let 'em pull your leg! Sport bananas are the large plantains that we use for football games. Also the Pitogos that are so much fun at tennis matches. Next you know, they'll tell you sports are some sort of hybrids or mutants.
