Right now, my banana tree is suffering an interesting problem: I think it is sooty mold. I am not happy about it and it looks horrible, but it doesn't appear to hurt the plant. I applied copper fungicide (1 dose) and am not seeing any results, several days or so after the application. What should I do? Will it go away? Will it affect my other plants?
