Some questions
Hi everyone,
Was wondering how long will it take for a dwarf cavendish to flower? The plant is 1 foot tall.I'll post pics later though. Is there any way to make bananas fruit faster??I've heard they will flower faster when the trunk is cut down when they are medium in height. Please advice! |

Re: Some questions
Time to bloom depends on how fast it grows. I have not grown a DC to fruit, but I have one. My guess is that it will take about a yr and a half to get a bloom if it is growing continuously.
I have never heard of cutting the trunk to speed blooming. |

Re: Some questions
Mine took about a year and was about 4' where the fruit popped out.
I only fertilized on Sundays. The soil was yucky clay with a little bit of potting soil from dome hepot. Fruit hung for 6 months then munched! YUMMY
