![]() I didn't do anything with my garden for about 3 weeks. So yesterday I went to do some weeding and to my surprise, there are 3 flowering. The first one, a blue java that was harvested about 2 months ago flowered again. I still have a few pups saved for you Kostas.
This one has about 14 feet pstem height. I rescued the unknown elephant ear from the compost pile. It was about 6" tall when I planted. Look at this monster now. This Dwarf Namwah is about 12 feet pstem and from planting to flowering was 12 months. This Williams Hybrid was about 5-6" tall when I bought it 13 months ago. It's pstem is about 5-6 feet. I'll post some better photos later this week. The sun was in a bad spot for photos yesterday. |

![]() Very nice Cheson!!! Congratulations for the flowers, its nice when you leave your plants alone for a while and they surprise you with nice growth and flowers when you look at them again!!! Thanks again for saving me some pups of the IC!
The elephant ear you have could be a Xanthosoma species such as X. robustum.

![]() Williams Hybrid after roughly 3 weeks.
Dwarf Namwah after roughly 3 weeks. I couldn't get a good shot of the Ice Cream bunch with my crappy iphone due to the location of the sun but the fruit already has the blue color. Last edited by cheson74 : 05-16-2013 at 08:33 PM. |
