Default Slow start, but things are picking up nicely.

Now that the nice warm, moist, high dew point weather has returned all the tropical plants are in fast growth mode. It's about time, there was still snow in mid April and the ground temp was in the 40s in early May, consequently many things were stunted (especially the canna seedlings) and the SDC and ensete both endured 34 degree mornings, which you would be hard pressed to see any effects on them now (look in the second photo).

Hopefully I have a greenhouse built by the winter or the house will be a little crowded.

I think that the pseudo stem of the banana on the far left is beautiful, and I really like how you put things on the trunk to give it a layered look.
