Keep it in a pot until mid-june, then plant it in the ground. (Offcourse, I don't have to tell you about the need for high light and loads of water to force growth)

Re: sikkimensis help please

I am sorry, I was in a rush when I answered your post, so I'll share my experiences. Young musas seem to struggle in one way or another when very young, and need something like "intensive care"! Probably part of natures' natural selection, though we want to keep as many as possible. When they get to a certain shape & size with a few mid-sized leaves and a somewhat sturdy stem (hard to explain, but we all "know it" from experience) they will take off when planted in the ground. One or two-leaved seedlings tend to die easily when planted in the ground, either from sunburn or cold temps. So get it to a size with a "somewhat sturdy stem" and "a few hardy leaves" and I am sure it will grow like a rocket!
